Lions Australia is Australia’s largest service club with more than 1200 clubs in Australia and Papua New Guinea. Lions are friends, family and neighbours who share a core belief: community is what we make it.

100% of funds donated by the public through fundraising go directly to the projects for which they are intended.

Health

Lions Australia has a proud history in Medical Research, including the bionic ear and cervical cancer vaccine, Gardasil. We also inspired a young Fred Hollows and continue to provide funding for a range of research initiatives involving diabetes and autism.

Environment

The earth sustains human life. We’ve seen how our stewardship of natural resources can improve quality of life and increase engagement in our local communities.

Our environment is more than a background: it’s our home. And we’re committed to caring for it.

In 1972, Lions Clubs made a commitment to servicing the community in environmental related projects.

Over 3,000 environmental projects are carried out by Lions in Australia every year.
